Carol is a retired teacher of 45 years, teaching in North Carolina, New Jersey and Virginia. Her life has been guided by her life verse of Jeremiah 29:11. She is proud of her two children, three stepchildren,five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a new great great grandson.

     A native of New Jersey, she and her now  late husband, had volunteered with SonRise since the first year, taking tickets on the sand. Her life has been a variety of rewarding experiences,not only enjoying family, friends and former students, but also with  many volunteer roles. She has been blessed participating in the play THE MAN CALLED JESUS , assisting with a the  nonprofit , BLANKETS FOR THE HOMELESS  and at her church, Courthouse Community United Methodist Church.

       God has now guided her to fill a position of  Volunteer Coordinator with SonRise.
